async_zocket

This repository contains a basic, non-blocking WebSocket client written in the Zig programming language. It leverages the xev event loop for asynchronous operations and is able to run non-blocking on a single thread.

Adding it as a dependency

zig fetch --save=async_zocket https://github.com/Thomvanoorschot/async_zocket/archive/refs/heads/main.tar.gz

The command above packs a branch and is not pinned to a tag. In production, switch to refs/tags/<tag>.tar.gz and keep the hash that zig fetch --save writes for you.
